We will gather for an in-person Ash Wednesday worship service on Wednesday, February 17 at 7:00 pm. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the Season of Lent, which reminds the Church of the necessity of salvation in Jesus Christ. On Ash Wednesday we acknowledge our sinfulness and the death sentence that we have rightly received. We wear the ceremonial ashes of grief and repentance, all while looking forward to the grace and salvation that comes from Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on Holy Week and Easter Sunday. Due to Covid-19 we will not be placing the ashes on foreheads and will be using a touchless method where the Pastor will be sprinkling the ashes over our heads. We welcome you to join us (and invite others) to our touchless Ash Wednesday Service.
