We cordially invite you to join us on Sunday, January 29 for the Annual Meeting of First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo.  The meeting will begin immediately following our 11:00 am worship service.

Join us as we discuss our financial circumstances, the 2023 Annual budget, and seek direction for the future of First Baptist Church.

Our Council has successfully navigated a very difficult season of events and is prepared to share with you the blessings that we have received and the challenges that we face in the coming years.  We are also seeking to exercise your role as the membership of the Church as we prepare for the future.

To quote President David Clarke (from his Annual Report):

“At our 2023 annual meeting Church Council will be coming to you to request a temporary suspension of the constitution to enable council members, who would be required to step down from their roles, to have an additional six months to serve.  It is the intent of council to come back to the congregation within three months with possible changes to consider that would allow us to remain in worship together in our church home.”
