Holloway Elementary Outreach
The colder temperatures have arrived and that means our little friends at Holloway need hats, scarves, gloves and mittens to keep them warm as they walk to school and play at recess.
The hand-knitted and crocheted items are always a hit, so those who are talented in these skills please put your needles to work, and, REMEMBER, the children are grades K-3 so smaller sizes are needed.
This ministry began many years ago when we learned a significant number of children are bused to Holloway from poorer areas of Springfield Township and lack basic items. Ever since we have strived to fill this need and keep little heads and hands protected from the cold.
Items may be deposited in the large bin in the Narthex.
