Vacation Bible School Success
During the week of June 16th - 20th, First Baptist went from being a church in the city to a farm getting ready for the county fair! An average of 41 children came for five days to learn about God’s love and farm life through the Fruits of the Spirit. The children went home each day with the word of God, a tune to hum, and something wonderful to show their parents. Whether it was the cluck-cluck chicken or a jar of jam, the kids were excited to show their parents what they had done.
This wonderful week could not have been done without all of the awesome volunteers and donations from the congregation. I would like to thank all of you who donated items to the week, and I would like to especially thank the volunteers, whose love for Christ and willingness to give made the week what it was. I again thank all of you for your help and hope you are giving yourselves a pat on the back because you all have won a blue ribbon for your great work at Son Harvest County Fair Bible School!
