"Dive In! And discover the Best in VBS!"
First Baptist Church of Greater
Toledo made a big "SPLASH" in the summer of 2000 as our youth explored the love
of Jesus Christ through the Fantastic Good News
Ocean Odyssey. The VBS Summer 2000 adventure zone took place from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. June 18th - 22nd, and
was the coolest event of the summer. Our mission was to make sure our children understand they can
live according to the VBS 2000 Motto: Dive In! Depend on God's Faithfulness.
We had an incredible, fun-filled diving adventure, where the
important ministry of God's faithfulness, and many timeless Bible truths were taught.
VBS was coordinated by the Board of
Christian Education and included: Debbie Quigley, Evelyn Antoszewski, Howard Cook, Michelle Cook, Bob Hendrix,
Carol Clarke, Betty Deel, Donna King, Cindy Chambers, Beth Csortos, Lois Smith and Linda
Stockner.
