Submission Instructions

You have likely reached this page because you are the person responsible for a committee, group, class or organization at First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo.  We need you to help us with the information that will appear on your group's web page(s).  

In order to make the submitting process as easy as possible, we prefer that you use our submission forms to provide information for the web site.

  • Event Submissions
    Use this page to to submit information about specific activities and events of your group.  This can include calendar updates, special events, meeting information and anything that changes over time.
  • Emergency Submissions
    Use this form ONLY if you must have information posted as soon as possible.  This could be due to a cancellation of an event or an error on the website.  

Again, we prefer that you use our submission forms.  If you choose NOT to use the forms, make sure to follow the following instructions:

  • Submissions must be in email form.  Notes, letters and pieces of paper will not be accepted.
  • Include "FBCOGT" in the subject line along with the name of the page you would like the info to appear.
  • Please carefully check all items before submission.  Make sure that information is accurate including the time, date and place of each event.
  • Spell-check your items before submission.
  • Please allow three to five days before information will appear on the web site.
  • NO ATTACHMENTS!  Information for submission must be included in the body of the email.  Please attempt to send in a plain-text fashion (not HTML).  If you have pictures you wish to include on the site, please get prior approval by emailing and waiting for a response.
  • All submissions must include your name and your phone number.
  • If you are submitting information you wish to include on more than one page, please clearly separate the items in your email or send separate emails for each page.

The webmaster cannot be held responsible for accuracy of the items submitted to the web site.  If you see something that is inaccurate, please email corrections as soon as you can!
