This was the Christmas season when everything was postponed, delayed or cancelled!
Due to a winter storm dumping six inches of snow on us December 16, our Living Nativity had to be postponed.  Instead, on Sunday, December 23, we presented the Manger scene with the animals.  It was an extremely windy day with blustery winds blowing down our Manger not once, but twice!  But once we managed to roll our amazingly durable Manger back into place, we had a special "petting zoo" experience with our special animal guests.  We had many volunteers on this hastily-called rescheduling of our program.  Guests stopped in a stayed around for cookies and hot chocolate, allowing for some great outreach opportunities.
