No matter what kind of year we have experienced, we search on Thanksgiving for those ways in which we are able to raise the cup of blessing. At First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo, our Thanksgiving service begins with the lighting of candles and a time of sharing followed by a dessert fellowship. The worship portion of the service lasts 45 minutes so there is plenty of time to return home and prepare for the next day.
