Chicken Barbeque Report - THE BEST EVER!
 Thanks to wide congregational support and volunteer effort the 2002 barbeque was a tremendous success and a fitting celebration of our 20th year. Everyone in the congregation became involved. 1,200 chicken halves were sold. A profit of $4,463 was realized. More than the profit, however, was the way in which this event has become a true community affair. It was also impressive to see how many visitors chose to tour our building and sanctuary.
This is an event that would not happen without the leadership provided by Dave and Lois Smith. It is the success it is because of their planning and the sense of ministry and loving service they model for all of us in their leadership of the project.
