The First Baptist
Church of Greater Toledo had an incredibly successful blood mobile
on April 9, 2000. We met our goal!! We had 31 people attend, and we
collected 25 pints of blood. Because of the generosity, we helped
save the lives of 100 people. That is truly a blessing. God has
blessed our congregation with giving individuals.
During the blood
drive, we learned a few lessons: Don't drink coffee within an hour
of donating or you may send your pulse racing, the pricking of the
earlobe is far less painful than the finger, and most importantly,
never encourage donors to race while giving blood – why you
ask?? Because we are all winners!!

In Christ wants to thank all of those who volunteered
and were willing to give of themselves on a busy Sunday afternoon.
We look forward to touching even more lives next year.
